Japanese Picture Books of the 2000s

Every decade since 1980, Chihiro Art Museum has surveyed social trends along with developments in the picture book field for each preceding 10-year period, and has held exhibitions introducing the forms of expression used in picture books to reflect the times of each decade. In this exhibition we will show approximately 100 pieces from 20 titles created by representative artists of the 2000s, beginning with Koji Suzuki and Komako Sakai.
