Chihiro's Showa Era -Fond Remembrances-

Chihiro lived through Japan's Showa Era (1926-1989), when the days seemed to resonate with a fond sense of warmth and sweetness, and time seemed to pass at a more leisurely pace than it does today. In this exhibition, we feature Chihiro's early works, including materials from picture books and literature, along with a full-scale reproduction of the studio she worked in circa 1962.
